Manchester United enjoyed a spectacular summer transfer window this time around. They signed the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, while keeping the core of their squad together. And while the start to the season might not have matched the expectations, there is no doubt about the quality of players that arrived at Old Trafford.
Next summer could be a different picture in terms of keeping the squad together, with a number of contracts coming to an end or several players struggling to get playing time, who could look for an exit.
One such player is Paul Pogba. The French World Cup winner’s current deal runs out next summer and he has been linked with a move away for a while now. And with a contract extension not looking on the horizon at the moment, Manchester United must keep their eyes on potential replacements for him in midfield.
Jude Bellingham is someone that they must have on their radar after the performances that the youngster has put in for both Borussia Dortmund and the England national team in recent times.
Manchester United must have an eye on Bellingham
The scariest thing about Bellingham is the fact that he turned 18 years of age just a few months ago.
The English youngster has already established himself in the Borussia Dortmund starting XI and has made several appearances for the England national team. Saying the sky is the limit would be an understatement when it comes to Bellingham.
It is believed that any move for Bellingham could involve a transfer fee around £100 million. But considering the potential that he appears to possess, that is a figure that is not out of the question when you think about the modern football transfer market.
If Pogba was to leave Old Trafford, Bellingham is a player, Manchester United must definitely try to sign.
