With just two victories from their first seven games, Manchester United has had the worst start to a Premier League season ever.
The Red Devils are currently in 14th position, and manager Erik ten Hag is starting to feel the heat, but he is certain that he can turn things around.
However, TBR Football can now tell they are back in contact with one of the greatest managers in Europe, and INEOS are now making backup plans in case they decide to fire the Dutchman this month.

Thomas Tuchel and Manchester United are in communication again
TBR Football is aware of Thomas Tuchel is keen for his next career move to be in England, and his agents are making every effort to make it happen.
Having spoken to Manchester United in the summer, Tuchel is aware of the club’s interest in him and is vying to replace Erik Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
After they won the FA Cup and received an extension, Ten Hag kept his job, but his future at the team is far from assured; in fact, the club’s management had extensive discussions about it at the beginning of the current international break.
For the time being, United is sticking with the Dutchman, but TBR Football is aware that multiple parties are in communication and that Tuchel’s representatives have recently made contact once more.
But Tuchel’s team has also told the Football Association again that they want to take over from Gareth Southgate.
The FA has maintained that they have not yet held interviews with any potential candidates, and according to insiders, they are unlikely to do so until early in 2025.
Whether it is with Man United or England, Tuchel, who Tom Overend has called “world class,” feels he is in a good position to take on one of the most important positions in international sport.
Premier League win % of Thomas Tuchel
Despite playing in far less games than Ten Hag, Tuchel has a higher Premier League victory percentage.
It’s not very interesting to read about Ten Hag’s Premier League record, especially when it comes to defense.
