According to a recent update, Manchester United has suffered another injury setback as the October international break begins.
Erik ten Hag’s future is reportedly being debated this week, and it is still unclear whether he will quit or continue to coach the Premier League team, so these are crucial two weeks for the Red Devils. After the break, the Dutchman will be praying that he stays on the hot seat and that his foreign players return without any injuries.

Many of Man United’s first team players are leaving the team to play for their nations abroad, as is the case with most Premier League teams. Over the next ten or so days, the Red Devils will have players representing teams in Africa, South America, and Europe.
James Scanlon, who is playing for Gibraltar, is hoping to add to his goal from the most recent international break. They also have players like Altay Bayindir and Victor Lindelof who hope to play for Sweden and Turkey, respectively.
Zirkzee, Joshua
When the Netherlands plays Germany, Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee will be hoping to increase their number of caps. Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Christian Eriksen, and Rasmus Hojlund will all be hoping to play for Denmark and Portugal in their next matches. In an attempt to increase their caps for Argentina, Cameroon, and Ivory Coast, respectively, United also has Lisandro Martínez, Andre Onana, and Amad Diallo abroad on international service.
Three players were supposed to be abroad with their countries but were injured, thus the Red Devils may have had more players away on international duty.
Garnacho and Mainoo are among the new injury concerns for Manchester United.
According to Fabrizio Romano, defender Noussair Mazraoui has withdrawn from the Morocco national squad owing to an injury, dealing Manchester United a setback. The 26-year-old is unable to participate for Morocco during this October international break, despite having played 29 times for his nation and scoring two goals.
Mazraoui joined the Red Devils from Bayern Munich in the summer, and he has participated in every league game this season. The Moroccan had to be substituted for Lindelof at halftime after starting Sunday’s match against Aston Villa. It is unknown what the injury is and how long he will be sidelined.
Mazraoui is the third Manchester United player to leave international duty already, with an approximate weekly salary of £135,000. Due to injury concerns, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have also withdrawn from their respective representations of Argentina and England.
Garnacho announced on Instagram that he will not be going to South America to play for Argentina because he has been dealing with a knee problem for the past week. Mainoo was United’s sole representation in the England squad, but he has also withdrawn after dealing with a problem over the past week that prevented him from playing in the most recent match against Porto.
