Even though the English transfer window is closed, Manchester United is still being connected to possible newcomers.
Right now, the club’s sole option for adding a new player is to enter the free agent market.
Transfer: Manchester United strikes agreement to secure star’s £30 million departure; decision made
Many football players throughout the world who had their contracts expire last summer are still without a new club as of this summer. This list includes players like Adrien Rabiot, Memphis Depay, and Sergio Ramos.
Rabiot is the name that has been receiving the most attention lately out of all of these. The French midfielder is reportedly being courted by a number of teams, including Manchester United, AC Milan, Galatasaray, and Al Nassr, according to Mundo Deportivo.
He has been enticed by numerous teams, but he hasn’t been persuaded to sign with any of them yet. Man Utd would have to pay almost €10 million a season, or roughly £162,000 a week, in order to sign Adrien Rabiot.
The Les Bleus have a plethora of experience to offer. With his extensive playing experience at PSG and Juventus, he should have little trouble adjusting to a major league team. Additionally, he is capable of covering in a variety of midfield positions and, if necessary, as a left back.
It’s hardly the most inventive passer that exists, Rabiot. The ball isn’t miraculously at his feet for him. The Frenchman does, however, have one thing going for him: he plays to his strengths and recognizes his limitations.

Rabiot hasn’t always been the crowd favorite wherever he has played, but the managers are more aware of his worth than the players in the area.
Adrien Rabiot would be a very valuable tool in Erik ten Hag’s toolbox should Man Utd sign him. In the upcoming days, let’s see if the Red Devils can finalize a deal for him.
