Manchester United are allegedly lining up a swoop for Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior.
The 21-year-old Brazilian has been in excellent form for the Galacticos during the 2021-22 campaign, netting 10 goals and registering seven assists in 18 outings in all competitions.
He has a contract at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2024, but he is said to be one of the lowest-paid stars in the first team, with Los Blancos keen to sign the South American to a new deal.
However, according to a report from El Nacional, the Red Devils are showing an interest in the player and are prepared to offer Vinicius a lucrative salary to make the move to the Theatre of Dreams.
He joined the capital outfit from Flamengo in the winter transfer market of 2018 and has represented his club on 136 occasions across all competitions, registering 24 goals and 30 assists in the process.
Junior has scored eight times in 13 La Liga matches this term, while the youngster has also starred in the UEFA Champions League, scoring twice and grabbing four assists in five appearances.
Elsewhere, Barcelona are reportedly desperate for attacking reinforcements in the winter and are considering swoops for Manchester United’s Edinson Cavani as well as Chelsea star Timo Werner.
