Man United are looking to launch the offensive to sign Wilfred Ndidi in the winter transfer window. Also a target for Real Madrid, the 24-year-old midfielder is valued at €60m by Leicester City. Nigeria international has come a long way since joining the Foxes from Genk in winter 2017.
One of the best midfielders in the PL, Ndidi has been a crucial figure for Leicester City over the last four years. To date, Wilfred has turned out 187 times for the Foxes, chipping in with nine goals and 11 assists in the process. His progress has not gone unnoticed, with some of the biggest teams in Europe keen on signing him.
Two of his prospective suitors are Real Madrid and Man United. The interest from Los Blancos is hardly surprising, considering there is no viable backup for Casemiro in the first-team setup.
While Valverde and Camavinga can fill in as holding midfielders, they are largely utilised in box-to-box roles.
The Red Devils are ready to pull the trigger in pursuit of the Nigerian midfielder in the winter transfer window.
The African midfielder is valued at €60m by the Foxes, but it is not clear if Man United are prepared to shell out such a sum for him.
It will also be interesting to see if La Liga giants respond to a possible offer by the Red Devils with a bid of their own. With the battle to add Wilfred intensifying, it remains to be seen if Ndidi leaves Leicester City this coming winter.
