Man Utd bid £47million to sign £68million player – Decision made

Hearing that Manchester United is reportedly interested in Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong is becoming a bit monotonous at this point.

It’s becoming even more tedious than it was when Real Madrid was said to be interested in signing Kylian Mbappe.

Check out Man Utd ready to pay £98,000 a week to recruit a £29.8 million player – Report.

The fact that Man Utd no longer need De Jong is the most annoying aspect of this move. The Red Devils’ need for the Dutchman has essentially been eliminated with the rise of Kobbie Mainoo.

They require a substitute for Casemiro.

Dan Ashworth and company are still attempting to sign the 27-year-old Dutchman in spite of this.

Man Utd made a £47 million attempt to buy Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong this summer, according to Spanish publication Nacional, but Deco, the sports director, has chosen to reject the offer and is reportedly seeking roughly £68 million.

This offer is made while Frenkie is dealing with an unexplained injury. The Dutch sensation has been sidelined for a considerable amount of time due to an ankle problem, and it doesn’t appear that he will soon recover.

Not even those in Barcelona appear to be aware of Frenkie’s situation. The Catalan club is starting a new chapter under Hansi Flick, but the German coach has yet to be given the chance to include the Dutchman in his plans.

At 27, Frenkie is about to embark on what is regarded as his career’s golden years. But he has often stated that he wants to remain at Barcelona, and putting together the original Erik ten Hag Ajax team should entice De Jong to transfer to Old Trafford.

Man Utd has to put this transfer controversy behind them once and for all. They must concentrate on other objectives. Despite his exceptional talent, De Jong is not meant to play at Old Trafford. Let’s wait and observe the outcome.
