CalcioMercato claim Manchester United have been told it’ll cost £33.5 million to land Nicolo Zaniolo – with Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur also keen.
The 22-year-old Italian has been excellent for Roma since signing for the club – or he had been, until sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury last season.
The towering attacker had a hand in 20 goals during his first 69 matches for I Giallorossi in 2018-19 and 2019-20 but the injury stopped the versatile player from playing in 2020-21.
This campaign, Zaniolo is fit again – but manager Jose Mourinho is not using him week in, week out. While the youngster has been a regular, he has completed 90 minutes in just four of his 16.
The star was left on the bench during 2-0 victory over Genoa two weeks ago. Reports have stated that the duo had a disagreement in training.
The same report adds that Zaniolo is open to a transfer and the Roma board would sell him for a sum of £33.5 million – with the Red Devils, I Bianconeri and Spurs keen.
Elsewhere, RB Leipzig are reportedly yet to receive any enquiries for creative midfielder Dani Olmo, who is on the radar of Manchester United.
The German outfit are aware that the Spain international wants to move on and sign for one of the elite clubs in European football.
