Speaking to FC Inter News, Ricardo Pepi’s agent Jamie Garcia has revealed that the player is ready to quit FC Dallas and join an elite club amidst transfer interest from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United.
The 18-year-old forward has been turning heads in the Major League Soccer (MLS) since he left North Texas for The Hoops.
The campaign has ended for the American side and the teenager netted 13 goals in 31 league matches for them. Thus, multiple clubs are now interested in acquiring his services, including the Red Devils.
The English giants have promoted young players to the first team in the latest years. Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood are products of the youth sector and currently play in the senior team under the Norwegian manager.
Hence, the club’s interest in the Texas prodigy is the real deal. The Old Trafford outfit also received a boost recently after his agent, Jamie Garcia, revealed that Ricardo is ready to join a top side.
“You must always take the big step forward in order to grow. Out of respect for the clubs I don’t want to say who is interested in Ricardo.”
“We are grateful to all the teams who have shown an interest in Ricardo but I don’t want to add fuel to the fire with more speculation. We have talked to many clubs, but I think it is best not to say who.”
