Chelsea set to rivals Manchester United to secure services of Juventus midfield maestro Adrien Rabiot during the current summer transfer window.
N’Golo Kante and Jorginho are both out of deal at Stamford Bridge next June, and there has been a host of rumours surrounding their futures recently.
Rabiot’s future has been the subject of rumours of late, with the 20-times English champions believed to be keen to bring him to the English top-tier during the summer transfer window.
However, according to L’Equipe, there is also interest from the Blues, with the West London club ready to explore the possibility of securing the services of the Frenchman in the current market.
The report suggests that Juventus would be willing to accept between £13m and £17m for Rabiot.
French midfielder was a key player for the Old Lady during the 2021-22 season, playing 45 games in all competitions, providing two assists in the process.
Meanwhile, he has scored six goals and provided six assists in 129 games for the Turin giants since arriving from France back in 2019.
Paul Pogba is set to arrive at Juventus on a free transfer this summer, though, and Rabiot has reportedly been told that he will not be a first-team regular next term.
Newcastle United are also believed to be showing an interest in the 27-year-old midfielder, with the Magpies now possessing the financial power to finalise with the world’s biggest teams for players.
