Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of six clubs poised to sign Manchester United star Jesse Lingard.
The Old Trafford bench-warmer is out of contract at the end of the campaign and talks over a fresh deal have collapsed.
According to ESPN, Antonio Conte’s side have now joined the fray for the 28-year-old England international.
Spurs’ Premier League rivals West Ham United, Newcastle United and Everton are also said to be keen on signing the player.
Meanwhile, overseas AC Milan and Barcelona continue to watch his situation.
Antonio has recently singled out defender Tanguy Ndombele for not being part of the squad and could be eyeing Jesse as a creative replacement.
He could be shipped out on loan for the second half of the term, as he did in 2020, before leaving permanently this summer.
Alternatively, though the player could end his United misery entirely in January. The side themselves are thought to be prepared to offload him for good in the New Year.
SunSport revealed this week that Jesse has already begun personal arrangements over a permanent move back to London and he dropped a huge hint that a switch to East London is on the cards.
Lingard reposted a West Ham United Instagram photo of himself celebrating two goals while in action for the Irons last season.
